Like, a power of love and freedom. In the Roda we're free to do whatever we want, we don't have to follow any rules. Or okay, it's not passable to just kick the berimbau-player in the face, but you get my point, eh? In many other sports or hobbies it's about to be the best. Everybody wants to be the best - or at least better. Of course everybody wants to be better in capoeira, too. But, the difference is: In, for instance, football it's like "everybody wants to be the best, and I'm so much better than you!" In capoeira it is "everybody wants to be the best - let's help each other!" That's what I think. My two passions in life are music and capoeira. In music, you can improvise on the guitar and play exactly what you want. It's the same thing in capoeira. I have never liked to do what anyone else told me to do, haha.
